FLEOA Congratulates Todd Blanche on Confirmation as United States Attorney General
Attorney General Blanche brings extensive prosecutorial and executive leadership experience to the Department of Justice, along with a demonstrated commitment to supporting the federal law enforcement professionals who work every day to protect the American people and uphold the rule of law.
Having served as Deputy Attorney General and subsequently Acting Attorney General since April 2026, Blanche has provided leadership across the Department of Justice and its law enforcement components, including the FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Marshals Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Federal Bureau of Prisons, and the nation’s 93 U.S. Attorney’s Offices.

FLEOA has worked closely with Attorney General Blanche on issues directly affecting federal law enforcement officers, including officer safety and wellness, recruitment and retention, pay and benefits, retirement protections, and other legislative and policy priorities affecting the federal law enforcement community.
Blanche began his legal career as a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where he handled and supervised complex investigations involving violent crime, public corruption, and racketeering. His experience as both a federal prosecutor and senior Department of Justice leader provides him with a firsthand understanding of the challenges confronting federal law enforcement personnel and the importance of supporting those serving on the front lines.
FLEOA Foundation President Jon Adler, who testified in support of Blanche during the confirmation process, said:
